Bottom line in the end you'd have 20 indie films in circulation from young directors- rather than one big flop- and if you are prepared to take the hit- at least you'd have more movie rights to play with.
The subject is just not Hollywood. Women don't go see movies like that. Kids can't see them. Porn stars don't care about stuff like that- the only people who might find the subject interesting come to these boards. We should be flattered I suppose.
