Totally different processes, and totally different banking accounts. I've done this before when I setup a (failed) company. Not sure about the US, but with Canadian banks you need:
- Deposit ACH - Canada
- Withdraw ACH - Canada
- Deposit ACH - USA
- Withdraw ACH - USA
You need all four accounts, and the transaction processing between Canada & US is quite a bit different. That, and I highly doubt US banks are as convieniently setup to handle transactions to Canada, compared to vice versa. Most banks in the US don't give a shit about a Canada, where Canadian banks will go the extra mile to accomodate US transfers.
