First off - please stop posting where your money is kept - you don't think someone in government accounting can raise and eyebrow and start looking? Secondly - epass's timing for whatever reason is just that - a series of events that takes time.
They heard - they freaked out and made calls - they held a panic meeting deciding at that time to not only get a group of skilled negotiators to be talking to the right people - plus lawyers - then also at the same time they wanted to inform as many as possible about this situation including posting on webmaster boards. All of this does take time and I would be skeptical of any president who suddenly got news then posted it for all to see. He did what he needed to do - assess the situation - make recommendations - send in a team to not only deal with problem but also to notify us. Keep in mind that any statement needs to be proofed by lawyers for the potential of future lawsuits which may arise... the fact they did this as soon as they did shows that they do care and that they were able to get a great deal of the above mentioned accomplished in a short amount of time (no matter where he lives) - he still overcame a huge serious of events to let us all know about the problem less than 24 hours.
Which btw considering what some companies have done - they did it within a shorter period of time than anyone else.
Whatever happens my hope is that they will not ignore us like other companies
