aah.. yeah, you'd need 800" for that
mwahah! i love gm! an excerpt from their site about jeg coughlin's monster cavalier. that's right, with the same motor you can get in a brand new cavalier. where's ford's 850+ hp 2.0 zetec? lol. i'm sure it could happen, with a lot of effort, but the thought of a zx2 with 850 hp is for some reason more amusing than a cavalier

How much excitement can be packed into a mere 1,320 feet of track? Ask the loyal fans of the NHRA and they?ll tell you ? plenty.
From its origins on country back roads and city side streets, this uniquely American sport packs more punch in less time than any other form of racing. And since we first burned rubber down a converted airport runway, Chevy has virtually defined funny car drag racing for generations of performance enthusiasts.
Today, Chevy is helping to redefine the sport for a whole new generation of NHRA fans. With our Chevy Cavalier in NHRA Pro Stock drag racing and the 850-horsepower-plus Cavalier competing in the Modified Class and the Import Drag Racing Circuit (IDRC), we?re committed to the short track ? for the long haul.
