Well if you deal with an OpenSRS reseller, the service is only as good as the reseller.

However, if you have a lot of domains (say 100+) there's no reason to deal with a reseller. Get your own OpenSRS account and buy your domains that way. It takes a little paperwork, and
a one time $95 dollar fee but its well worth it. We've been using
then for about 2-3 years with over 500 domains and never had
a problem.
