There is a big market for what you are selling, it's just better for high volume users to go with server side solutions, in my opinion.
Well let me show you that client side is not a disadvantage in my case - program is running a gateway taking less than 900K of memory + database (even the big one won't take more than 10Mb), and it deletes all the spam mail RIGHT FROM THE SERVER, not downloading it. It downloads and gives to your mail client ONLY entrusted letters from database you make yourself. So almost no bandwidth is taken. One mail checking via POP3 protocol never takes more than a kilobyte, so it's not serius to take it as a "traffic" or "bandwidth"
