Well if you are in Ireland for but a week, I would say it would probably be best to stay around the Dublin area, rather than traipsing around the country, as its quite a demanding country to drive on (believe me why I say its infinitely better than it was
).
Plenty of things to see in Dublin/Wicklow and all that jazz. I'll get a you a list of things to do if you are interested
