Several years back when online processing was still in its infancy same type situation happened to me. We started processing more than the banks had set as monthly limits on our online merchant account, because of rapid growth, and they call up one day and start saying how we have to stop growing so fast. Imagine that dilema. You're building a new industry and the bank is saying slow down. They wanted us to put up $1 Million in personal collateral for every $1/2 million of transactions we had on balance through any 6 month period where someone could charge back. A fucking 2 to 1 ratio. It was insane.
hehe - it sounds unbelievable today
bank : slow down man - you are making too much money , you'll become too rich for us
