My uncle was admitted to the hospital a few weeks back with everyone thinking he was terminal.
Turns out he was just a bigger fucking drunk than we all knew he was. His BAC was .586 and he was near death when they admitted him to the hospital.
He was excited to know that he had beaten his old record, which was a .49. He got that one during a DUI arrest. His 4th or 5th.
He walked out of the hospital after 3 days and still had a BAC over .3
