At least the customer was arrested and actually served some jail time, even if was only a few days.
Unlike the female passenger (anyone know her name yet?) on the JetBlue flight who was not arrested. The passenger got into an argument with another passenger and then later hit a flight attendant, Steven Slater, with their baggage hard enough to leave a visible wound.
Slater tired of the crap cursed out the bitch, told the world he's quitting, grabbed a beer, and made a grand exit down the emergency slide!
The corporate masters expects more and more and yet pay less and less. Most employees, as the McDonald's incident highlights, will take the abuse, because most are desperate being that jobs are scarce and lack of quality career opportunities due to automation and globalization...
More and more employees are being pushed to the breaking point - and while most often, co-workers are targets, there have increasingly been many incidents of violence against customers. Slater was an exception - he didn't hurt anyone while making a public protest of sorts with class; grabbing a beer before chuting out.
