I tried AWE in the past and went 0 for ~2000 uniques with traffic that was doing 1:200 or better at various other sites. I love the webmaster area and the sites looked OK...I just never could get them to convert.

Same as AWE. I've had an account at pussycash for years. Every time I've ever sent any amount of traffic I've converted at like 1:1000 or worse. Even when the traffic is killing it elsewhere. I've always heard people talk about how well they did with pussycash, but I never had the same results.
