That's how I've done the desk in my new "shack" - since I'll probably be alternating between doing something at the desk, then installing or shelving it on the other side of the room. The desk can be used standing or sitting (on a taller bar stool)
Then again maybe repeatedly sitting down and getting up from a normal height desk would be good exercise.
