Of course I am trying to get something cheap. Why? because I don't want to pay more than I need to regardless of how much money I have.
In today's economy I know I can find a quality designer for $1,000 - $2,000 range to do a professional looking site for me, not canned template or amateur looking shit. I just need site design, going to do a $500 logo tournament to get the logo done. Oh well, I though I would offer it to GFY designers first but you guys rather argue and speculate how much money I have instead.

How would you react if a designer here posted a thread and said, "I'm looking for clients with high-end work that pays high-end prices, but I'm only going to do low-grade shit work in return for it... spam me with big clients with money to burn."
Now apply that in reverse. Here you are, a potential client to somebody, but you state up front you don't want to pay what the job is worth. How did you expect us to react? Groveling at your feet for your precious work?
