Here's a rough slide scan from the shoot that was back around 1988 or so.
Like I said the shoot was a bust. When the late afternoon light was right and coming from a side angle it would have made a lot of dark shadows and just highlighted certain parts of the building like the red and blue stripe at the top. The windows would have been black and you couldn't see inside. When I checked the building the day before with the good light it just had a really cool look to it.
As luck would have it a storm came through and the overcast sky made for one big light diffuser allowing everything to be exposed the same effectively eliminating the extreme shadows that I had hoped for which would have made for a much more dramatic picture.
