I can comprehend English. But your numbers are bullshit quite frankly. You do realize that every administration changes the criteria for counting the unemployed and underemployed. With carter we had double digit inflation-interest rates and double digit unemployment. Things were worse in 79-81 than now, but we are not through this yet.

The top 1% is a real catch phrase for certain people. The "working man" (read unions) made US steel industry uncompetitive, just as the auto industry and any other industry strangulated by organized labor. We can argue the pros and cons of moving from a manufacturing based economy to a service based economy until we are blue in the face (and you might find we really agree). We can argue the pros and cons of large labor unions forever. None of this changes what is happening today.
I have asked what has Obama done to correct the situation now? To answer Bush fucked the economy up is not an answer. To blame trickle down economics is not an answer. There is an answer, but I am not sure anyone that reads this board knows it
