I don't expect a good "movie" out of it. I expect a very entertaining visually stunning flick and to me, that's more fun than a really good "drama" movie.
I loved 300 but didn't like Watchmen because I felt it had too much drama for the type of movie it set out to be... the pacing felt off to me.
It's all personal preference ;)
