		 This is all bogus and I don't believe would ever stand up in any court.  
 
So some ambulance-chasing lawyers have the following information: 
 
- an IP address 
 
- a screengrab claiming someone using that IP address has downloaded a file that MIGHT be copyrighted material 
 
I am no lawyer, but I thought in most countries in the west you need *proof* to do someone for a crime? 
 
An IP address and a filename that MIGHT be a file that is copyrighted is not that proof.  
 
a) Open wifi means ANYONE could have used that IP 
b) IP spoofing is facile 
c) Just because a file is called TOYSTORY3_CAM_L33th4><><0r5.avi doesn't mean that actually IS a copy of toystory
