These statements do not contradict each other. If there are 100 million people in America with 2 million on welfare then there are 75 million white Americans and 1.2 million on welfare.

Well hate to say it but the way you worded it was very easily construed as meaning 61% of that 75% gets welfare, especially with your comment after you put out the numbers... So you can see my confusion
