Both Exxxtacy and XFANS were by far the most successful fan shows so far this year. What made these shows stand out from all the others was the total interaction fans had with the girls and of course alcohol, which makes everything more fun! Exxxtacy had a huge edge over any shows in this country because they allowed nudity, alcohol, and sexual acts. Now the nudity and sexual acts were not the officially allowed but the event staff and police did not tell anyone they couldn't do it thus it happened and fans loved it! Exhibitors and fans alike really enjoyed these shows and felt they got their monies worth. The LA Exxxotica last week was sheer disappointment. Not much attendance and very few legitimate companies had booths. Over the last 2 years there has been a rapid decline in all fans shows here in the US and it seemed like it wasn't going to get any better. Even as the economy picks up I don't think it would make much of a difference. But with these new style of shows with more interaction and less restrictions, I feel there is hope for the consumer expos once again.
