Back in the day when shows had long intros...now thanks to commercial overload they get rid of about as much superfluous stuff as they can, which is too bad because it takes away some flavor.

In Living Color was the shit back when it was running...Kids in the Hall carved out its own following but I think In Living Color was the only variety show that really gave SNL a run for its money...it really was the cool show to watch when it was running and certainly Jim Carrey can thank it for his $25+ million movie checks he ended up getting later on.
