Open your ears at the shows and on the boards, hon. There is lots of hate and it isn't just coming from GFY.
I've been to the shows when someone walks by and they're called a name....and it's not just a name but something derogatory and either racial or religious. Never have I seen so much Jew Hating as I've seen at shows and on the boards.
As far as families, I wasn't around during the pioneer days and maybe I'm hearing the memories wrong...but, as much assistance as there was, there was that much back stabbing, too....wasn't there? There are some wars between the old guard that are still going on...if I have my information right...
As to BP4L...why not? I live in the NW, amongst people who are different than I am.....my brother-in-law is Filipino....their sense of family is amazing. You could go to jail for a million years and when you get out, they are there for you. It's the way. They might watch their children around you...but, they'll set you up with something, so you can put your life back together.
Every time BP4L comes up, the same thing happens...oh, they're so cool, they're so mysterious...well..to themselves...they are a family..to the rest of the world..they are a mystery......and then the bashing starts......
Let them be. For those of us not inside their Family, be entertained. For those inside, cool.
Family is everything when you've got a good one.
