Then the killer blow is, you get what you see with a slide. With digital it's what your screen shows you. A slight colour variation on your digital image or screen will throw out the whole thing.

interesting points but as a few have pointed out, we are not shooting for print (most often) so hi-res means diddly. digital is the shit for the web cuz you get immediate results & images w/out having to worry about developing or "finding" someplace that wont give you a problem or jack a copy of your images for their own purposes.
