Well, the bird did not make it through the first 24 hours. He was still there and in the shade but no go. It is also still pretty hot today here.
Lady who takes in birds says indeed it is pretty hard for a downed bird to survive.
Anyhow, at least we all know if this happens call the biggest vet and they can prob put you in contact with someone if your in an area that doesnt have a specific wildlife rescue.
It was indeed a Rock Pigeon. She said Morning Doves are protected and there is paper work with them but pigeons there is no paper work or laws on what you to with them.
