Used to have 3 cats when I lived with mom and brothers years ago. One evening I heard what I thought was one of the cats coming in through the back door. Then I heard it crunching on dry food.. but it didnt sound right.. it was loud crunching.. so I carefully looked, and it was a skunk! It'd come in the cat door and was chowing down on cat food! Looking around and there were all 3 cats in 3 different doorways, all crouched down silent and just watching.. thank GOD the skunk seemd to FINALLY realise it was being watched from all directions or something and it got the hell out of the house..

whew that coulda been MUCH WORSE!!!!! haha
