Yeah, it actually was really easy and the pigeon is right where he should be.. after tangling with a cat.
I always think what a way to go.. eaten alive but I must have loyalty with my cat and I guess it is just nature. Mice dont bother me but rabbits, squirrels, and big birds I try and intervene.
Cat lives to hunt. All winter he "works out" with an elastic string and a dummy bag.
I once seen a show on Hist chan or such where Great Britain has (or had) a bad mouse prob in some areas and needed more cats over there. So cats do do a service. 1000 mice in this area (500 plus 500 he doesnt bring in) multiplying over 10 years. And that is just one cat killing that many.
So we need our gibbys out prowling at night as they have for 1000's of years.
