When they neutered him they should have done that.
Seriously tho 50 mice inside the house a year. Prob about 30 alive. They always find a nook to ditch the cat once inside. So now you have to tear things apart or just leave it. I used to tear the place apart to get it outside if still alive. Now I realize just leave it. Maybe leave the door open a crqck and go back to bed.
