Now this is a first. The neighbor that lives behind me called the police because I was watering his shrubs and trees that back up to our property fence.
Apparently he did not like me watering (with my water), the Cape Town honeysuckles, oleanders and the ash trees that he is letting die on his side that back up to our property. He told me he didn't want me to water anything. I asked him why, he told me the home is in foreclosure and the bank will get it with everything dead.
Anyway, I told him I was going to try and save any of the plants and trees that backs up to my fence as I do not want to look at dead trees when I am out back relaxing.
He went inside, must have called the police and then waited for them to arrive. We all had a talk, police mentioned to him he had every right to ask me not to water, but the complaint seemed silly beings I was using my water to water his stuff and was not really hurting anything.
Then the police then told the neighbor that he could be reported to the fire Marshal and city because his place appeared to be a fire hazard
Police asked me to not water anymore, I said no problem and told the police and the neighbor that I will let the fire marshal and city know about the potential for this place being a fire hazard and they can deal with the issue.....
