I admit I love watching Simon break these karaoke klusterfucks down into tears....I pray they let him on the new show with the singing kids "Timmy, that was bloody awful, you're mother should abort you now"
I also love the "holier than though" types who claim to hate it, yet watch it anyways...or even better, those who complain "it's so fake" and "it's all manufactured"...um, welcome to the fucking music business where 99.9% of EVERYTHING seen in the business is neatly arranged, packaged and shoved down your throat for mass consumption...if someone thinks pre-packaged bands started with The Backstreet Boys or Britney Spears, they're more ignorant than those they mock for watching a show like "American Idol"
although, I do really really really want to see Ryan Seacrest get beat down by Simon with a baseball bat.....
