Well asked question and I doubt you will get much honestly. But here is what I have to contribute.
First to qualify what we are looking at, all the sites in my program are somewhat niche. They all focus on masturbation and capturing authentic orgasms. Abbywinters.com is probably the next closest site to what we do at our flagship site "yanks.com". However AW mixes a lot more lesbian scenes into their content and therefore I would assume they convert a bit better on "General" traffic.
Taking into account all traffic running through affiliate codes right now across the board our traffic converts at:
1:649
Yanks.com being 1:1050
Clubstroke.net being 1:594 (our best converting site)
And our all access pass being 1:38 which is do to very successful internal mailing of past customers off a list that spans 12 years and some kick ass affiliates who do target the traffic very well.
the closest number I can get to show what our sites across all "general" porn traffic is to look at the affiliate code that I run internally on JuicyAds.com systems filler ads in which case we convert at
1:1120
So like any other program I can show you a screen grab of a particular code that converts 1:17 on a given month or show you my best site on my best month that would sit around 1:300
But I totally back you up that if any program gets up and says that if you place a banner on the top of 50 sites across all niches you will come under 1 in 1000 they are not being honest. But I think a solid program now falls in between the 1:1000 and 1:1500 range.
Putting the work in is key I can tell you that I OWN search terms having to do with masturbation and if I send that traffic to myself I do around 1:650, if I sent it to abbywinters.com I improve slightly to 1:600 but when I sent it to say WEGs letsmasturbate.com it would convert at 1:5000 even though they claimed it was 1:275 or something ridiculous on their site.
The difference? Quality sites and a quality experience for the surfers.
