Personally I think the goal line technology, like what they use in hockey; should definitely be used. I'm still hesitant about using instant replay. There are way to many close calls in soccer (last to touch the ball, where did the ball go out, was it a foul, etc.). There is no doubt in my mind that implementing the use of instant replay would only slow the game down. How about just adding an extra ref. on the field? Each responsible for half the field.
The calls in this wc, have been brutal. Games should not be decided by officials, in any sport.
