Princethorpe, Warwickshire ? Thursday, June 24, 2010; Robin Peter Mortimer, owner of RPM Motorsport, sadly passed away late on Tuesday, June 22, aged 58.
It is understood that Robin died of natural causes in his sleep at a hotel in Belgium while travelling with his team en route to Spa Francorchamps.

Highly respected throughout the industry, Robin?s lifelong motorsport career spanned two and four wheeled racing. The son of renowned Grand Prix driver Charles Mortimer and brother to multiple TT winner Chas, Robin switched to sportscar racing in 1989 after a 35-year career as a rider, making many motorcycle Grand Prix appearances.
