sarcasm aside, the part you are missing is there is no contingency plan. there is nothing better available to sop up the oil than what is happening now. put every amercian and brit in a hazmat suit and sponge up the gulf coast and that still wouldn't stop things.

there wasn't a plan in place in case of a gusher and there certainly isn't for a gusher + hurricane. that IS the problem. can't just snap your fingers and make it so. even in light of a storm.
