I have all the consoles but rarely turn on my PS3 and Wii... Lately I've been playing a lot of Borderlands. Great game, I hop on multiplayer with my sister and some friends I have back in Florida. It's like having a conference call with your friends while doing something entertaining. I feel like I'm accomplishing more. If I watch trash tv programs (well I consider it trash anyway) I feel like my brain is rotting out of my head and I'm just waisting my time. Video games I at least feel like I'm accomplishing SOMETHING. I'm also very big on UI design and being a developer seeing different UI design patterns and just functionality in general fuels my creative side and acts as a source of inspiration for my own work.

This thread reminds me that I have not yet told the boy that I am not paying $250 for NFL Sunday Ticket this year. It is going to kill me to not have it, but I know if I can break myself of that, I can go w/out DirecTV.
