This storm looks like it fizzled, but the meteorologist I follow (Jeff Masters)
www.wunderground.com says it could come back to life. I recommend his blog (right hand side scroll down) for anyone interested in hurricanes and storms and the oil spill.
I've been in a shitload of hurricanes, including in the direct path of katrina. For some reason, I don't remember any thunder or lightening in any hurricane. I could be wrong.
