You could say the same about most things that people consume on a daily basis. For example: caffeine. People go crazy for their coffee/soda/energy drinks. Personally I don't drink anything with caffeine as it gives me headaches.

Don't have to even consume it, people going to the gym several times/hours a day, every day of the week... that's not healthy for your body, mind, or anything. Addiction/dependency can happen with just about anything.
