Why are political figures held to a higher standard than those they are elected to represent? The congressman is a human being with emotions. Sometimes people do things that warrant a punch in the nose. If you do something that warrants a punch in the nose to someone man enough to punch you in the nose then you have nobody to blame but yourself. Frankly I thought the congressman showed remarkable restraint. He has my vote next term.

I completely agree that he has a right to know exactly who is questioning him, that part I am right there with you on.. but what I don't think was right is that he was jerking the kid around. He should have just walked off... putting his hands all over that kid will hurt him far more than help him, and he should have thought about that.
But I agree with you on just about every other point you make, just he shouldn't have put his hands on that kid.... past that, he had every right to question who had a camera in his face. He should have known it wasn't going to go well from the start.
