All pizza is local. If your local shop sucks, try someone else.
I like plain pizza. It's dough, it's pizza sauce, it's mozzerella.
Every Pizza Hut pizza I've tried in this area is in need of about 20 paper towels to soak up the sick orange grease laying on top. It's truly disgusting to behold.
Papa Johns is approximately the same. It has a better crust because, unlike pizza hut, they seem to form it fresh when you order.
Dominoes was always the better of the three for me. Nice crust, good sauce, decent cheese. No excess grease. Pretty simple formula. They had a guy there for like 15 years running the little hole in the wall location. 99% deliveries, no need to make it pretty. That one dude was the key to why it was good pizza.
So hold a pizza taste off with some friends. Travel to your local shops, eat some pizza, drink a beer, video blog it and post the link.
