Sorry fris, I didn't explain properly. What I meant was that I do think that the theme looks a bit boring, but I also would like to see some features added to the main page, because now it only shows the admin blog posts but it doesn't really show that it is a social networking site. I guess what I need are widgets? I'm using the buddypress default 1.2.4.1 theme by the way, because I figured that that one would support most widgets and plugins.
Besides that, I was just wondering if there are any useful plugins around that may work well on a dating type of site?
