Yeah, we've improved the quality of life for many Afghans by killing them and
running them from their homes to avoid the fighting.
The reason you think the way you do is because you believe that owning material
junk like cellphones, fancy cars and computers determines how good a life is.
Which pretty much means to me that you have no life.
If you think your life is over when you go flat broke then you had no life to
begin with.
Afghans had a life before the war started; it's just that you have no appreciation
for what their life is because it's just not rich enough for you.
Further, the Afghan life has been shaped by repeated wars from invaders
that have kept the country from ever getting a foot hold on anything else
except finding new leaders and creating new governments.
Get the fuck out of their land for 100 years and maybe they can do something
themselves.
