Instead of signing up and being good to go. You will have to contact them and ask for acceptance, prove that you have real traffic and can add real value to their program, then get the signup form, signup and wait for approval, and finally begin sending traffic. The affiliate managers will be more in charge of watching affiliate fraud instead of in charge of getting them whatever they want or basically board whoring. Maybe not totally but there will be more emphasis on this.

You may be right but I must say.. the winners know they can always get rid of you. I have yet to see.. almost always.. the sign of a loser prog is hoops to jump thru when signing up.
If I am here to join your prog, get my ass out into the field now. Dont think your prog is so special.
I just joined a winning prog. Kicking ass. It is owned by old school major players. They know how this biz works. And they are fucking selling like hotcakes. And guess what? Of course, no hoops.
Some paysite owners know how to sell. Simple as that. Some dont.
Hoops tells me that YOU (the prog placing hoops) dont know shit about this biz and are prob another guy thinking they can create a paysite and make millions.
It is called old school webmaster savvy. So pull down all hoops.
Off my box.

There are exceptions of course.
