I know what you mean. I own a 2010 Camaro and love how it sounds, but sometimes I wish it was quieter.
The car actually does make some sound. When you're driving fast, you can hear a slight "whirrrrrr" coming from the rear motors. Not sure why, but it reminded me of the movie "A.I.". I felt like I was suddenly in the future. Dumb I know, but..
