In this case though, the cop escalated things WAY too quickly. I realize there's no plate on the car and that can be pretty major, but we don't all have license and registration within arms' reach that we can whip out in 2 seconds. I know there's been times where I've probably searched for my registration in my glove box for a minute or two before finding it. Granted I said "hold on, let me find it" first whereas this guy didn't appear to say anything, which is a bad idea, but I don't think this guy's actions were enough to warrant an escalation THAT quickly.
