You all watching the same video that i saw? i saw the huge one of him falling from behind and it looked like he was trying to get away and side stepped down and then started sliding after that... i saw it a handful of times too..

I'm probably the last one to back up cops ever but what else are they supposed to do? He had a fucking lethal weapon IN HIS HAND! Probably the same one so all 'innocent until proven guilty' claims go out the window because this person is a danger to other officers, or if he got away other citizens... You think they should just run up to him and give a suspected armed murderer a big hug instead? If they shot him in the arm I wouldn't even call that excessive.. no less tasering... If they planned on just killing him they would have just shot him up with bullets, not tasers...
They don't have to be that close to him, we wouldnt be endangering anyone but himself.. Thats the point I am making, let him off himself, or choose to put the sword down and step away from the edge.. I said in my above post ignore the fact he is/was a murderer.. if it was any one of us, say we had a swiss army knife on our neck.. and you get shot with a less than lethal device, lose your footing then fall??????

Say one more hour I woulda just done it, or I would have put the knife down, then stepped away on my own will... and then I would have gotten locked up in LA mental health for at least 2 weeks, then I would be re-evaluated after that and sent home after I got the help I needed..

There are always multiple sides to a story, but I think the cops reacted pretty wrong in this instance.. its not like he was swinging the sword at the cops necks.. he held it at his chest the whole time.. maybe they felt injured by the glare off the sword..
