In other words, she's just trying to feel cool by jumping on the bandwagon. (unless she says the same thing to the guy's driving around all day in pickup trucks that don't need them for work)

I would have called her a stupid cunt and told her to to step her hippy ass away from the vehicle.

I believe hummers get 11mpg in the city, and something equally stupid like 12 or 13 on the highway. F150's, while still exceptionally horrible on gas thanks to a lack of a diesel option, still manage much better mileage numbers. And they are actually useful.
Honestly, I don't care about the fact that they get shit mileage, what bothers me about these fake hummers (aside from the owners) is that they are a picture perfect example of everything that is wrong with the modern american car buyer. Which in turn makes everyone who is an american car buyer, and thus an american, look like an overindulgent, irresponsible vagina. Even the ones in a prius, because hey, you live in the same general area as that fake hummer driving douche? Fuck you too.
It basically just compounds everything that is seen as wrong with the modern american lifestyle. Excess, over indulgence, enviornmental irresponsibility, and a general "fuck you im an american" attitude.
I am aware that people in other countries live equally over indulgent, excessive and irresponsible, unsustainable lifestyles, but that doesn't matter, because it's the americans who get shit for doing it, not anyone else. Life sucks when you are on the top of the food chain, deal with it.
