So reading the police report, they let her out pending charges because she broke her wrist. No one was injured (except her but she obviously deserved it). They didn't list the results of the BAC breath test that I saw in the report but she was screwed regardless.
She said someone rear ended her and caused her to hit the barrier.
The report also said that her skid marks were 123 feet long, which is about the distance that car would take to stop from 60mph in my experience.
She's screwed. Out the money for the car, facing an aggravated DUI, destruction of public property, plus she's got a shattered wrist which means medical bills to go with lawyer fees.
Sucks to be her.
