As he pointed out some of the people in the photo and telling the story I soon noticed he was pointing himself out. It was one of those memories that will forever be burned in your head.

I've been to Europe before and I've been to a number of the museums there. However, I was younger, and wasn't too interested in any of it.
However, when you step back and take a look at your family, most of us have some connection. My grandmother's entire family died and that's how she came to the US. My grandfather died during WWII fighting the Japs in the South Pacific. My step father was a young boy in France, and was wounded by a grenade.
It's just an amazing period in history.
