I'd have to say that was a jerk move. How random is that? She's obviously moved on. It makes you look like a teenager trying to impress his friends by prank calling an ex and being a dick to her while they laugh. You can't win, though. Now if you apologize to her, it looks like you're trying to re-establish contact and maybe patch things up. Very confusing all around. Fail.
