In my experience if you want to start getting more sales do not hire a designer to do a fancy static tour that looks like everybody elses.
Instead do what I did...make it dynamic. When a new update goes up in the members area it is reflected on the tour. Give surfers a reason to come back and put eyes on your site.
A "pretty", static tour gives them zero reason to ever come back. Nothing changes. What I'm talking about is a "living" tour that you update just like the members area. CM's site has done that from day one, and I first tested it with a Deluxe Pass site I built and updated by hand that made 3/4 million dollars for me (and since it was 50/50 with Deluxe Pass, that means it grossed 1.5 million) in 2years.
So I knew a dynamic tour was key to making sales that run circles around all the other programs that I promote. It will work for you too.
