I'm sure that it would raise prices and other business's would scramble to meet the demand, but right now, demand is low, the gas prices reflect that

We have national guard here, I have seen them with my own eyes. As the article says, having the troops in the area helps... which is why the new law requests 1500 more troops.
Now if Obama is sending another 1200 troops, on top of the other 1500 requested, on top of the 6000 more the state is requesting, that is on top of the 3000 already here... that's a hell of a beef up.

You notice you're using the words "IF" "Requested" and "Requesting". Where can I find out about the 3000 troops already there?
The president gets a big FAIL on this so far, lets hope he can pull his head out of his ass and do all that's requested.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
