Nope, but I know other gas stations can't just take other peoples gas, and I know supply trucks have contracts with gas stations/refineries to move supplies and other stations aren't going to have the extra gas needed to cover the supply.
I also know they don't supply just gas for cars, but natural gas for homes, oil for cars and huge work machines, and other crap all over the Country and the oil pile lines in Alaska which if you cut that off would basically shut down an extreme oil supply.

We have national guard here, I have seen them with my own eyes. As the article says, having the troops in the area helps... which is why the new law requests 1500 more troops.
Now if Obama is sending another 1200 troops, on top of the other 1500 requested, on top of the 6000 more the state is requesting, that is on top of the 3000 already here... that's a hell of a beef up.
